NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast ' Cloudy and rainy weather has prevailed except on the eastern part of the South. Island. Moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds have .prevailed, but a northerly gale is reported this evening, at the East Cape. The barometer had fallen slightly everywhere. • Present indications are for rain in most parts of the .country, strong northerly and westerly winds changing to southerly after from about 24 hours, when a rising barometer Is probaible. |
