The final result of the election for the Chris-tichurcli North seat, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr T. E. Taylor, was as follows : L. M. Isitt 3814 J. D. Hall 3106 Majority for Mr Isitt. 708 There were 10,100 names on the roll, and 6920 voted. In the 1905" election, Mr T. E. Taylor had a majority of 1098 over has nearest opponent. The figures, at that election were:— T. E. Taylor.- 4365; .0. M. Gray, 2667; R. J. Ecroyd, 405.
