AMUSEMENTS.

THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. There was a good attendance at the Foresters' Hall last evening, to witness the cm-rent programme of pictures which was shown for the last time. To-night the new series .will include the following first-class pictures : "The way of the Transgressor" (a. very fine drama), "Bighearted Jim" (a powerful drama of the popular type), "The Open Road." (a touching story), ' 'lnherited Taint" .(a . tragic and sensational drama), "A Quiet Boarding House (a screaming comedy), "Windsor MoCay" (another hilarious comedy picture), "Story of Mantis" (an insect study), "The Coast of Brittany" and "The Regions of Ararat-" (isoeiiios). "Love ,and Music," "The Empire Pageant," "When the Catsi are Away" (comic), and "Pathe Gazette." On Saturday the children's matinee will be given.
