Messrs Abraham and "Williams, Ltd., reportWe a good yarding of .both, sheep and cattle to a . moderate • attendance. All - -sheep were quitted art auction, hoggets selling well, and ewes in laniib meeting spirited competition, with an advance in. values. Cattle were represented principally by young stock, of which we mad© a lal*ge clearance at late rates. Quotations: — Young ■ewes, in lamb, 15s to 17s; sound mouth ewes in lamb, lis 3d, 12s 6d to 14s 1 ; (medium hoggets, 9s lOd, lis 4d to 12si; dairy cows, £3 5s (to £5 15s; empty cows, £2 3s 6d to £2 lis; heifers, springing, £6 to £6 12s 6d; heifers in calf, £4 5s to £4 17s 6d; empty heifers, £2 17s> tbo £3 10s; yearling heifers, £2 to £2 14s; weaners, 23s 6d to £2.
