NEW ZEALAND FORECAST.

WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C: Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— The barometer .bias risen slowly in the northern districts, hut has fallen in, the south. Moderate to strong westerly winds have prevailed, with showery weather on the West Coast; fair weather on the East Coast.
Present indications are for unsettled and showery weather generally. Moderate to strong westerly winds, and though very unsteady in the isouthemMmost districts, a falling barometer generally.
