THE BOUNDARIES.
It was expected that the boundaries as altered iby the Boundaries Commission would have been gazetted on> Saturday last. It would appear, however, that they iare to be kept back for next Thursday's Gazette. There is much speculation as to the effect the 'alteration will have* upon this electorate. It is now certain that there will only be one additional electorate in the Norfh Island, and that will probably be in the Auckland suburbs. The extension of electorates will proceed northwards from Wellington and south-, wards from aibont Taumarunui. This will mean that the Waira.ra.pa electorate will iprobably encroach still further upon Masterton. If this be so, it seems ,almost inevitable that Pahiatua Borougn, or a considerable slice of. the Pahiatua electorate, will be addled to Masterton.
