SUICIDE BY POISONING.

WELLINGTON, Last Night. William Johnson, a married man, a very old resident of Wellington, land well known in building circles, was found dead in bed on Friday. He rented a room in Hopper Street. His wife is visiting England at present. He had bean in bad health lately, having suffered from gastritis, and it is stated that lie had been worried over money matters. Two friends went" to his room and found him in bed quite dead. A bottle, which had contained prussic acid, w.a.S lying by. At the inquest yeterday a verdict was returned of suicide, while of unsound mind.
