Rain has (fallen on miany parts of the; 'west coast of both islands, and cool and ahange.aiblo weather has prevailed. Present indications are for moderate to 'strong -westerly and southerly :winds, squally at times, in Cook and iFoveaux Straits.. Changeable and showery conditions probable igenerally. Barometric pressure unsteady, but with a rising tendency soon.
