(Received August 11, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, August 10. The Times Paris correspondent states that the negotions have not yet led' to any basis for final agreemert. Germany has abandoned her claim to the entire French Congo, and the negotiations have reached a more reasonable phase, with the. possible exchange of certain regions in the French Congo for regions in the German Cameroons. The German claims in this regard are .still considered excessive. (Received August 11, 10.45 a.m.) BERLIN, August 10. An officially prompted news agency states- that France is offering the hinterland of the Cameroons from Lake Chad to a junction with a line running eastward from Libervillo in the French Congo.
