COMMERCIAL.
CLEARING SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd.. report having held on behalf of Mr D. O'Brien at his farm at Scarborough, a sale of the whole of his herd of dairy cows, comprising 69. in number, besides pigs, etc. The cows were a particularly good lot, and were in real good condition. Bidding opened very briskly, and continued strong, throughout the sale. Prices ranged from £5 10s to £l2 10s, making the good average for the herd of just, on £B. Bulls made £2 to £5 2s 6d; sows in pig. £3 15 to £4; store pigs, 14s to 20s; spring cart, £ls; milk cans, etc., made market values.
