TRUST LANDS TRUSTEES.
MONTHLY MEETING
The monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees was held last night, there being preoent; Messrs E. G. Eton (Chairman), Ri Krahagen. W. H. Jackson. J." H. Pauling. 0. Pragnell, T. Wagg, D. Cacelberg, T. B. Michel!, and C. E. Daniell. Ah Lop wrote, asking the Trust to purchase his interest in the Queen Street property held by him under lease from the Trust. —It was decided not to entertain the proposal. A letter of thanks was received from Mr L. G. Stewart. Secretary of the Wellington Education Board for the Trustees' donation towards the District High School funds. The \ Chairman reported having promised a medal to the Masterton Fire Police for Town Hall duty competition.—The Chairman's action was confirmed. The Building Committee reported that after making enquiries they would not recommend an extension of Mi- H, W. Jackson's lease, as the pro,jposed improvements were not of a "sufficiently permanent nature to warrant an extension. —The recommendation was adopted. The architect reported that ,satisfactory progress was being made with the new brick building by the contractors. The treasurer reported a credit balance at bank of £ll2 18s Id. Accounts totalling £lls 18s 8d were passed for payment.
