BAKERS' DISPUTE.

CONCILIATION COUNCIL IN MASTERTON.

A sitting of the Conciliation Council, in the matter of a. dispute- with the bakers and paitry-cooks. in 'regard' to wages,, hours, and overtime, was held in Masfterton yesterday. Ooananj&sioner P. Holly presided, and Messrs H. Unsworth, T. M. Goodchild and A. Collins, appeared as assessors on behalf of the bakers, while the employers were represented by Messrs J. C. Alpaas, J, G. Mackay, and E.„ Anstiee. Mr, C. ;A. Tabutean, secretary of the Employers' Association, was also present. Only minor matters could be agreed to, and it is understood that the dispute will be submitted to the Arbitration Court.
