WELLINGTON, Last Night. A petition was presented to the House of Representatives, this afternoon from the . Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, asking for a 10 pea- cent, increase ini wages all round; that Is 3d per hour be paid to casuals; that all persons doing shunting work'be paid .shunters' wages;"that a working week be 46 hours;-that riot leas than nine hours he allowed off between shifts; that dismissed servants be permitted to 'continue to pay into the superannuation, fund; and that full citizens' rights he granted to all railway servants.
