WANGANUI, Last NigM. _ The dangers and privations ' incidental to busjhfelling in- the> backblocks were' exemplified . to-day. While working in the Ahualra block, inland from the Wanganui River, a young man named Frank Williamson! was jaimibed between two' trees on> a steep siding, and broke hi® leg. The sufferer was' placed on a packhorse at 9 o'clock this .morning", and carried several mites over a rough track. Tbeai he was put on to a istretehier and carried by his mates to tho river, where he arrived at 5 o'clock this afternoon. A special steamer. brougiht him down to the hospital, which- was reached at v ll p.m. ,
