Tho Bill proposes to repeal l-hc Chinese exclusion laws, replacing them with the exclusion of persons not eligible to become naturalised citizens exceptions being Government officor.s travellers, and members of learueu professions.

Received This Morning, 12.25 o'clock. WASHINGTON, August 9. It is not proposed to alter the existing laws prohibiting Chinese from becoming naturalized citizens. Boards of Enquiry will be provided to decide disputed questions regarding the admissability of aliens.
