Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., held their weekly Pahiatua sale on the Bth inst, when they offered a fair yarding of sheep and cattle. The yarding of sheep consisted of ewes in lamb and' hoggets, no ewes offering. One pen of j 350 mixed sex hoggets sold at lis lOd, i and all the sheep sold well in ad- j vanco of vendors' prices. Quotations: —Mixed hoggets, 10s to lis lOd; 4yoar old ewes in lamb, medium sorts, lis 6d to 12s lOd; cull ewes, 6s Id; yearling steers, £2 6s to £2 9s; poorer sorts, 255; yearling heifers, £1 5s to £2 j store cows, £2 to £3 10s.
