PAST SEASON'S SHOOTING.
The following are the .results of tihe past season's sJLootdsiig in coitinjection, with the Mattrieevillei Rifle Club. Although the scratch men have held their own in itibe tanidacap competitions, the shooting luas heem much (better ibm. in.' previous years. Fbr insitamioei, the previous hirghiesst aggregate for the handicap shield was .452, against 479 poisntg. Although only tlhree posffiibles were during the isie&som (two by R. A. Wdtom and one by ~W. TapMn) some (twenty-six 34' iS iwe<r© recorded, the principal claimsrs being F. W. Kummer (seven), G. Ruttaedtard (5), and R. F. land. R. A. Wilton. (4 each). The following a<re the principal aggregates: — Dagg ; Shield: R. F. WUitom 479, (also wins Mr R. Cameron's £1; G. Rutherford 474, wins Mr R. Oamaron's £1 for second place; F. W. Kuraimer and IR. A. Wdlton 401. Maunisell Cup.— R. F. Wilton 567, ' G. ißutherford 565/ R, A. Wilton 553, 0. Blewett 549, F. W. H. Kummer &16,R.-C'.>-F.' Dagg 5457 A. ■ E. C&arke 544, DH. As both the latter trophies are for the best aggregate for two years they will not bo won outright until the ond of the- coming .season.. The cdndifcionis are that the winner of the Maunisell Cup cannot also warn Mr Rummer's gold medial. The latter ifchen goes as a second priyso.,
