MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.

The usual fortnightly meeting of the Wairarapa Rugby Union was held at Carterton last Saturday evening, Mr A. B. Charters presiding. During the absence from the district of the secretary, Mr <E. MoKenzie was appointed to the position. After the minutes of the \asb

Welch, stating that he had broken his collarbone in tihe North v. South representative match last Saturday, and enclosing doctor's certificates. Granted weekly allowance for doctor's and medical expenses. The meeting decided to again write to the Wanganui, -Rangitikei, and Manawatu Rugby Unons, pointing out, as they owe Wairarapa visits this Union would he pleased to have the matches played here this season. • ■ T!he captain of a junior team attended by request, and gave an explanation with reference to the behaviour of some member.® of., the. •team complained about by .the referee in a. recent match.— Action was deferred till next meeting. It was decided to ask a. player selected in the Wairarapa junior representatives, who played Wellington on Saturday, to give an explanation why he did not play or send dn a reasonable excuse. Mr A.
