When, ho is making the change, he might consider whether he could not adopt a more rational system in, regard to tickets. Why, for instance, should a penson have to travel a distance before being able to break his journey ? Wihy should 'tickets not be transferable? Why a person have to wait until a few minutes ibeforo a •train .starts to he able to procrue a ticket? Wihy should a traveller be compelled, -to show his ticket three, or four times on a journey of seventy miles?
