EKETAHIJNA STOCK SALE. v
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Eketahuna, yesterday. Entries came in in excess of advertised numbers, and all classes of stock sold well. The firm managed to quit the whole yarding, with the exception of one pen of cattle, the reserve on this line being to high. Quotations :Hoggets, 5s 6d, 8s 9d, and 10s Id; 2-tooth ewes, empty, 10s 9d; in lamb, 9s to 10s 2d; f.m. ewes in lamb, 5s 6d, 7s 6d to 9s 2d; 'hoggets, tor 8s 9&j heifers-in calf, £4 4s to £8 2s 6d; empty cows, £2 10s to £3 16s; cows in calf, poor, £4 10s;. weaners, 355, 38s 6d, and £2.
