A SERIOUS CHARGE.

WELLINGTON, Last Night
A writ was served to-day on Mr Beauchamp, Manager of the Wellington branch of the AustralasriajiKodak Company, having its headquarters at Melbourne, claiming £19,000, v a sum isadd by tibe Customs Department to be due for duty and penalties for evasion on importations. The claim invoJlvas a review of the Company's imports over a long period, and charges of .systematic'" evasion by means of fraudulent invoices.
