Mr Herdman has given notice in the House of Representatives to ask the Acting Prime Minister: "Whether the attention of the Government has been draWn to the. strange behavior,«f. the Minister of Public Works when upon by a headed. by the Acting-Mayor of-Wellington, on Tuesday, July 25th;'and, if the attention of the Government has been drawn io the Minister's conduct, does it propose to take any action in the matter?"
