PARLIAMENT PROROGUED
A MINISTER RESIGNS
(Received Last Night, 9.20 o'clock)
SYDNEY, August 1. Parliament has prorogued until 23rd August. Whatever may bo the state of parties then, it is expected that Mr Wade will again/move a censure motion, in order to determine the personnel of parties. Mr Neilsen, Minister for Lands, has formally resigned. It is not intended to fill the vacancy until Mr McGowen's return. The bye-elections will be bitterly fought. The leaders of both.sides are preparing for an active campaign.
