MR J. B. HINE, M.P.
It is reported that tihe Government intend imaking a detemnined effort at the coming .polls to rid Parliament of the presence of Mr J. B. HHine. That this effort will be defeated almost goes without saying. Mi- Hike, by exposing one of the numerous festering sores in. our body politic, has earned the gratitude of the electors of New Zealand. He has done' a conspicuous service to tlie whole, community, and the electors of Stratford have reason (to be proud of a man who, in the face of .prodigious, obstacles, laid 'bane one'of t!be canker-wormls, --which! is destroying the life, and purity, and whjolasomienass of our Parliainnentary institutions.
