WELLINGTON LAND BOARD.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Wellington Land Board was held on Thursday. Thcro were pi'esent: Messrs J. Mackenzie (Commissioner for Crorn Lands, in the chair), Messrs J. Daw- | son, H. T. Elliagham, J. Gcorgetti, W. M'Lcnnan. The Commissioner of Crown Lands | advised the board that Mr J. Dawson had been re-appointed a member lor i another term of two years. TRANSFERS APPROVED. Section 3. Block 11, Mangahao, from W. Hall to T. Routvfcon. The transfer was approved of the sublease of Lot 1, Block XI, Mangahao, from J. H. Brenner and G. H. Gibson to G. H. Gibson. MISCELLANEOUS APPLICATIONS. Mr A. H. Braithwaite transfer of Section 46, Block VII, Tararua, to Messrs P. E. Knyvett and T. S. R. Schaw. —Approved. Mr E. Blake, transfer of Sections 26 and 27. Block 5, Mt. Cerberus, to Mr R. A. Giddens. —Declined. Mr E. Andrew applied to take Miss G. S. Rolnjrts as a partner in Section 7, Block I, Ruahine, 727 acres, and it was resolved to approve. Mr C. H. Fisher, transfer of Section 34, Block VII. Tararua, 200 acres, ~0 Mr George Ripley. —Approved. Mr I. A. Bellisihaw, transfer Sections 1-t and 16, Block VIII, Cerberus. to Mr Stephen Pedersen. Messrs W. H. and H. Bagley, transfer of Sections 10b and 11, Block IV, Mt. Cerberus, to Mr W. H. Bagley onlv. —Approved. Transfer of Section 9, Block XIII, Huar.garua, Dyer Settlement, to Mr J. A. Grant.—Approved. Mr C. H. Petrie, transfer of Section 79. Block I, Makuri. Man g a ram a ram a V.S.. to Mr T. H. Stacey.—Approved conditionally. Mr W. H- Heckler attended with reference to his application for a temporary permit to remain in occupation of S. G. R. Sections 86 and 87, Block XVI. -Manganui.—Left to the Commissioner. OTHER MATTERS. Mr George Payne wrote with reference to the timber royalty payable for timber cut on Section 1, Block V, Wainuioru, Longburn Settlement. EDUCATION LEASES. Messrs H, and W. H.. Bagley applied to transfer section 20, ' Block VIII,. Mt, Cerberus, to Mr H. Bagley only.—Approved. ' The Commissioner reported that a transfer of section 75, Block IV, Mangahao, 1 acre, from Mr J. H. James, to Mr S. Bolton had been registered in the Land Transfer Office without payment of the necessary fee or the consent of the board having j been first obtained.
