FARMERS' UNION DAY.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.); WELLINGTON, Last Night: The following resolution was passed at th© Farmers' Union- Conference toKtay:— "That the Union appoint a day, to be called 'The Fanners' Union Day,' on which sports, picnics, or any forpi of amusement may be held in the- various districts, to give farmers, their wives land families an interest in the Union, and increase its membership."
