MASTERTON TECHNICAL SCHOOL
MEETIMC OF MANACERS. The-monthly meeting of Managers of the Maxtor-ton- Technical School was held last night, there being, present:— Messrs W. H. Jackson (chairman), C. E. E. Feist, J. M. Coradine, and E. H. Waddington. The Treasurer reported a balance from last meeting of £l2l 10s Bd, receipt* since, £74 17s lid; expenditure £B2 2s Id; credit balance at date, £ll4 6s 6d.
Mr R. <T. Fo&s submitted a list of apparatus required for the electricity and magneltism -class.— It was decided to secure the apparatus subject to the approval of the department. The equipment will cost about £4O.

Oil) the motion- of the Chairman, Mr Conuline was appointed to represent the Managers at the lecture on veterinary science by Mr Rait -to-night, and to state at the meeting that tiie Managers were prepared to start veterinary classes if sufficient support was forthcoming. The dressmaking instructress wrote, suggesting the starting of classes for fine sewing and art needlework.— The suggestion was adopted. ' ' Accounts totalling £22 17s 5d were ! passed for payment. I
The chairman was authorised to make arrangements to hold a woolclassing examination in Masterton.
