AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES, Another large audience greeted the current programme of pictures at the Foresters' Htall last evening. "Queen for a Day," was a .splendid comedy, and certainly the best that has' been shown at the Hall for some time past. Another good comedy which evoked continual laughter was ' 'The Man: Halters'" dub." Among tM' dramas, "A Gambler of .the West" (a, cowboy story), "The Blue. Horse Mine" (a thrilling Indian; study), and " Who Killed John. Dare hj" .were the pick, being interesting 'subject®, well acted.. Among the..other -pictures, worthy' of. specialmentaon, were' "The - Healing Faith/' "jKelly'ts r Courts ship,"- Pathe Gazette, "Fpofehiead sut a Feast," "The (xurreo Eqiuilibrista," ' 'Norwegian Waterfalls," and '' Jonies the Champion." The jbe .repealed for the' last time- to-' j: night. A children'® matinee-will' beheld this afternoon, at 2.30 "o'clock, the charge for admission .being—Adults 6d, children 3d. 1
