It is gratafyfeg to note that the membership of the local Association is grip wiaig. Although the Secretary 'has tihis year .had' to eras© some 40 members, the increase in., member-; ship in. less than four monitihs has been nearly 80. Tlhe' present member ship of the gyinnfi«tdc classes is 12$ and the . va.riou|, . agencies • at work are somewhat busier ""than usual. . On. Sunday next a discussion,! is to take place at the Bible Class at 3.45, when Mr 0. Pragnell opens up the subject on "Some of the Difficulties of Scripture," and at the Strangers' Tea the Association welcome i»-being extended to a newcomer to the town, Pastor Swinerd, tt>he new Baptist Minister. Pastor Swinerd is. to speak on some phases of Spiritualism, and will also contribute a solo. Service, at Solway will follow, ,so that Sunday promises to b© an interesting and busy day.
