The Right Hon. A. J. Balfour, M.P., Leader of the in the House of Commons, and Lord Lausdowne, Leader of tho Onposition in the House of Lords, visited the King. When Mr Asquith rose in the Hour-e of. Commons, ho was frequently interrupted. The Primo Minister declared that unless the House of Lords consented to restore the Parliament Bill with {reasonable amendments, consistent with its main, principle, the Government would be compelled to exercise the Crown's prerogative. (Received July 25, 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, July 24. The House of Commons at first refused to hear Mr Asquith, and then declined to listen to Mr W. E. Smith. Amidst a scene of disorded the Speaker adjourned the House.
