B. | Charters presiding, i A commujici ation was received from the Wellington Rugby Union 1 , notifying that their junior representative ; team would visit Wairarapa this I isea&on, and asking for' a suitable | data.— Decided to recommend that the match be played at Carterton |on Saturday, August sth, Mr E. McKenzie to referee. - Mr B. Chapman tendered liis ro | signation.i a© a member of tho Management Committee, and also of the junior selection committee, owing to being unable to further devote tlio necessary time to same.— Regret was expressed that Mr Chapman was compelled to adopt this course, and lie- ivae accorded a. hearty vote of thanks for his past long and effi- : cien.t service on the Union. Mr R. Ward was appointed to fill the vacancy on the junior selection I committee.
