A SERIOUS POSITION
In conversation with <a representaV lave of Age on Saturday, iMr R. J. Dagg, the well-known Upper Plain, settler, made some remarkable dis--dostires. [Ha stated that lie had recently induced Mr Edwards, a Government Veterinarian, to visit the district iand inspect tne dairy herds of himself and others. He was not prepared to give a detailed result of the inspection for a day or two, but, in. the meantime, he assured our representative that the disclosures were simply shocking. Some of the,, 'cows wero eaten up with, tuberculosis. "One cow, for which a good price was -paid, was a mass of disease. It is terrible to think." >said 'Mr Dagg, ■"that the people of this town, might bo consuming milk from such .cows."
