PALMERSTON- STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows regarding our sale to-day:—We offered a fair yarding of sheep, including a line of 1200 •store wethers of account of Mr A. Harding, of Siberia, which realised 12s TOd. A small entry of cattle met with little demand. Quotations: — Store wethers, 12s lOd; good lambs. 10s 2d ; small lambs, 5s lOd; cull wethers, 9s sd; store cows, £2 to £3 10s; fat cows, £o 10s; weaners, 20s.
