SENIOR. ST. MATTHEW'S (1) v. EXCELSIOR (1). ' • __ *■■'■■' A very even and exciting anatch was played ibetiween St. Matthew's and Excelsior, at LansdoWne yesterday afternoon. St. Matthew's play ed with one man short. In the first half Ashley scored for Excelsior, and in the second spoil Douglas scored a goal for St. Matthew's from a scramble. Both "teams were in poor foran, hut Excelsior had rather the best of the' game, 'and several good chances/were missed. C. Cole ' (St. Matthew's) had his hand badly injured, and had to , leave the field. F. Madsem, of St. Matthew's juniors, stepped in and filled .the gap. Dalefield defeated Excelsior at Lansdowne by two goajs to one, after a hard fought out game. Palefield are now the -> holders of the junior championship.

St. Matthew' sforfeited to Martdnjborongh.
LADIES MATCH.
KIWI (1) V.- RAMBLERS (<)),
'Kiwi (l>alefield) defeated Ramblers iby one goal to nil. Ramblers had easily the best of the game, but their shooting was bad. \
