JOHNSONVILLE STOCK SALE,

(By Telegraph—Special to the Age.)

JOHNSONVILLE, Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows :—We offered a heavy yarding of prime bullocks and sheep, which sold readily at late rates. Prinw heavy bullocks, £lO to £lO ss; lighter £9 10s to £9 15s; light, £8 5s to £3 15s; prime cows, £5 17s 6d to £6 17s 6d; vealers, £2 14s, prime heavy wethers, £1 0s 7d to 21s 3d; good wethers, 17s; prime ewes, 15s 3d to 15s 9d; medium ewes, 13s Id to 13s 6d; plain, 13s; fair lambs, 10s 2d to 10s 3d.

MASTERTON STOCK SALE

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd,, report having held their weekly sale at the Solway yards yesterday:— Our offerings were confined to sheep, for which there'was a better demand, buyers generally operating more freely, all lots submitted by us finding buyers at auction. The following pr' were realised :—Small 2-tooth wetlu:°» but good woolled, up to lis 7d; twotooth empty ewes, 10s 3d down to 8s lOd.

The New Zealand Loan anfl Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows: —Skeep of ah classes came forward in average numbers, and the quality nearly all through being good, we were enabled to make a clearance under the hammer. The market generally showed a marked improvement. A line of exceptionally good ewes in lamb made . 14s 4d; others ewes in lamb, 10s to 12s. The fat ewes were not a finished lot, making 12s 7d; forward ewes, 9s to 10s 8d; store wethers (only medium), 113 2d; good lambs, 9s Id; others, 7s to 7s 4d. In cattle, a few 3-year steers made £5 6s; dairy cows,' backward, £4.

PAHIATUA SALE

a Messrs Abraham and Williams, Jsitd., report:—At our Pahiatua. sale on Tuesday, we offered a good yarding of sheep and cattle. There was a good enquiry for sheep, all classes being sold at prices in advance of late rates. Cattle sold as usual. Quotations :—Ewes in lamb. 8s v sd to lis 6d; 2-tooth wethers, 3s 6d to 12s 3d; good mixed hoggets, 8s 8d to 10s 9d'; medium ditto, 6s to 8s 4d; wether hoggets 7s 6d; ewe hoggets, dairy cows, £5 17s 6d to £7 ss, springing heifers, £6: weaners, 21s. 255, and 375.
