A suit has been filed in the Federal Court to compel a bona fide separation between the Reading railway and the Reading Coal Company. The Government- is planning a number of vsimilar actions. The Louisiana sugar planters and producers examined the House Sugar Trust. The Investigation Committee asserted that a reduction of dutie:* would ruin the' domestic production of oane sugar. Free sugar would annihilate the cane and beet industries.
