A REGRETTABLE INCIDENT.
CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The recent delayed burial was referred to at the meeting of the Hospital Board this morning, when the Hospital Committee reported as follows :^— "A regrettable incident in that by a, pure oversight the corpse of a patient remained unburied for several days, must be noted; but the committee have investigated the matter, and there is no reason to apprehend that any such case will occur in future." The Board adopted •the clause of the report without discussion.
