TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. By Telegraph — Press Association. WELLINGTON, Laet Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— The barometer pressure has decreased slightly, but anti-cyclonic conditions still hold -sway, and fine weather has prevailed except about East Oape. This morning the winds have been variable, moderate easterly and northerly wincLs predominating. Present indications are for a falling (barometer everywhere, easterly and northerly winds increasing strong to gale in most parts of the country. Increasing haze and cloudiness will probably be followed by rain., generally.. A decided change is still ominous.
