SIR GEORGE REID SERIOUSLY INJURED.
ABM BBOKEN IN TWO PLACES.

LONDON, July 16. Sir George Reid, High Commissioner for Australia, while motoring at Broadstairs, in Kent, was seriously injured in a collision. The, oar containing Sir George was struck. broadside on by another car, and forced against a tram standard. Sir George Reid's arm was broken in two places, and he was severely shaken, and his daughter seriously injured. The High Commissioner and his son proceeded to an hotel, and his daughter was taken to a hospital. They are reported to be progressing favourably. The impact was so violent that the tram standard was cracked, and the oar smashed to pieces.
