THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.

Largo audiences attended both- the afternoon and evening performances at tfle Foresters' Hall on Saturday. Tho change of programme, which will take place this evening, will include an entirely new series of the leading film manufacturers' productions. In the scenic and travel section there are three coloured masterpieces by the Pathe Freres Company, viz., "Gathering and preparing cocoanuts in the - ißlippinos," "The Temples of Nikko," and "Winter • Flowers and Plants." Gibraltar, England's greatest fortress, should appeal to all British, subjects. A touching story of the Wild West will be found in "The Outlaw and tbe Child," while "Tbe Lost Ribbon" is one of the finest dramas the Kalem Conn pany has produced. "The Martyrdom of Thomas A xteokett" is a capital 'historical study. "Dr Brian Pellie and the Great Bank Bobbery" is a drama full of thrilling interest. "A Stage Romance" is a stirring . ; aiid pathetic story of the stage. In the comedy section there are two exceptionally fine' stndr'es, viz., "Rev. Goodleigh's Courtship" and "Take Me. to the Ball Game," both being celebrated comedies full of genuine humour. In comics, "Bumptious ais Romeo," "Whiffles and His Monocle," and "Babylas is Fond of Play" are sure to become favourites.
