FEMALE MIGRATION.
SUGGESTIONS FOR OVERSEAS GOVERNMENTS. (Received Last Night, 10 o'clock.) LONDON, July 14.. Princess Christian and the Presidents of the Women Workers' Union, the British Women's Emigration Association, the Young Women's Ohris>tian Association, and _ the Girls' Friendly Society, have issued a, circular offering suggestions to the Overseas. Governments respecting women emigrants. The circular suggests the- selection of emigrants by responsible officials and reliable agencies. The emigrants should sail in the care of a Statepaid matron, and, each State should provide a reception home, with free board and lodgings for three' days. The officials should find situations, -with approved employers. Girls should be allowed to return to the hotels during intervals of their service at a • moderate charge. The State should also appoint a voluntary inspector to visit the girls in their first'year's service. „
