OBITUARY.
EARL CRANBROOK
(Received Last Night 10.45 o'clock.) LONDON, July 14. The death is announced of the Eari of Cranbrook. The family name of the late .Earl was Gathorne-Hardy. The deceased was lx>rn in 1839 and was thus eightytwo years of age. He took Ms title from Cranbrook. one of the Seven Hundred, of which he was Lord.., He leaves four sons and three daughters. One of his sons—Captain GathorneHardy—was an A.D.C. to Lord Plunket when the latter was Governor of New Zealand.
