PALMERSTON STOCK SALE

PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our sale at Palmerston to-day a small yarding of sheep and cattle met with a ready sale, and we quitted the bulk of our entry under the hammer. We quote:—2-tooth wethers, 14s 3d; fat ewes, 13s; fat wethers, 17s Id; mixed lambs, 8s; ewe lambs, 9s Id; forward ewes, 9s 3d; rams, 9s 6d. Cattle: Fat heifers, £5 6a to £6 10s; forward cows, £3 to £3 18s; weaners, 22s to 28s; dairy cows, £7; bulls, £2 2s 6d to £4.
