PAHIATUA RACING CLUB.
A PUBLIC PROTEST.

A largely attended ineetinig of memibers of the Fahiatua Racing Ohib and representatives of local institutions and townspeople, lias en*ered a .strong protest .against the unfair treatment meted out to the Club and district by the Racing Commission', in recommending thalfc no totalisator permit be granted the Club, and that it 'should .coalesce with the Woodville Club to race at Woodville. A deputation has been appointed to wait upon the Minister of Internal Affairs on Saturday.
