_♦ —,: NEW ZEALAND FORECAST, By Telegraph — Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— The barometer pressure has continued low, but with, little movement, and generally cold and changeable weather has been experienced, with rain in many parts of the North Island, especially. Moderate to strong southerly winds (backing to westerly &ave -pre\'ailed. Present indications, are for moderate; to strong westerly winds, and cold unsettled weather Bain is profoable in many places, and a further fall in the barometer.
