BRITISH CONSOLS. AT A LOW EBB. Received This Morning, 12.40 o'clock LONDON, July 12. Consols have touched 78 and threesixiteenths. This is the lowest they have been since 1831. They closed at 781. BACHELOR OF LITERATURE. (Received Last Night, 10.10 o'clock.) LONDON, July 12. The Oxford University has conferred the degree of Bachelor of Literature upon the Rev. M. Scott Fletcher, upon the completion of his coujrae under the Board of Theology. The Oxford, Cambridge, and Durham Universities do not admit Nonconformists to degrees of Divinity.
