ENGLAND AND AMERICA. (Received Last Night; 11.15 o'clock.) LONDON, July 12. In an inter-University contest, America won the hurdles. The winner was Ohisholm, whose time .was 15 2-ssec.—a record. America also won the liigii and long jumps,, and half-mile flat. English competitors won the ham-mer-throwing, hundred yards flait, quarter milo flat, and two-miles flat. There was great enthusiasm over England winning in .-the final event.
