First ties: Wellington beat Middlemarch, Kilfilem beat Valorous, Headlight beat Captain Starlight, The Loader a bye. Second ties: Kilfilem beat Wellington, Headlight beat The Leader. Deciding course: J. Brosnan's Kilfilem, by Tolstoi—Gertie, beat Wiremu Neeri's Headlight, and won the stake. Supplementary Stake: Dividend beat Balderdash, Kinock Girl beat Lonsdale, Middlemarch heat Temuka. First ties: Kinock Girl heat Dividend, Middlemarch a bye. Deciding course: J.
