INTERVIEWED IN CHRISTCHURCH. MR TAYLOR'S ATTITUDE. By Telegraph—Press Association. OHRISTGHURCH, Last Night. Mr W. F. Massey, Leader of the Opposition, arrived from Wellington on Saturday morning. In conversation with a reporter, Mr iMaasey' spoke confidently of the prospects./of the Opposition Party at the polls ini ifche North Island. Referring to tihe meeting addressed by him in Wellington on Thursday night Mr Massey said it .was one of the largest and most successful that he Hind, addressed. Mr Massey courteously declined to ibe interviewed on the subject of his difference with Mr Taylor, M.P. Asked whether Mr Taylor would be asked to preside at hi® meeting on Tuesday night in view of reoent hap. penings, Mr Massey said the matter had nothing to do with him. It was in the Hands of his committee. The ■committee had very properly asked /the Mayor to preside as Mayor, and it'had nothing to do with the squab•Bl&.of two members of Parliament. Mr Massey was then asked if on Tuesday evening he would deal with the question raised by Mr Taylor concerning the "Voucher" incident. Mr Massey intimated that he did not desire to reply to the question. ■ ■'•'•
