TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Eev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— Anti-cyclonic conditions prevail, but with a decreasing pressure everywhere, and especially in the southem districts. Fair weather has prevailed, with winds changing to the westward in the southern districts, and squally in Foveaux Strait. Present indications are for increasing northerly and westerly winds, especially about Cook Strait, and in the south, where gales are probable. A change in weather conditions is expected soon, increasing cloudiness preceding rain in most parts, but especially southward of Kawhia and Castlepoint. The barometer is falling everywhere, particularly in the south.
